Description:

The Health Services Research Roundtable (HSRR) Core Planning Group hosted a networking evening on 14th November 2016. This event was designed to introduce the concept of the Health Services Roundtable to faculty and community partners and create a forum for an interchange between faculty and community stakeholders that might produce mutually beneficial opportunities for collaboration. Approximately 124 individuals from academe and the community attended the event with each person receiving an exit survey sent out electronically prior to the evening’s conclusion. The results were unequivocally positive with all of the respondents indicating that the HSRR is a sustainable concept that should be supported through In-person networking events, a website linking academe with community stakeholders, projects and selected HSRR updates and quarterly email communication.
