Objectives:

• Describe current challenges to trust and public health and medicine in our region and identify at least one gap or call to action.
• Identify at least two reasons for skepticism or hesitancy in accepting public health or medical interventions within our community.
• Identify at least two key scientific advances or practical communication strategies for addressing misinformation or disinformation about interventions or treatments in public health or medicine.
